With a charge card, there are no interest charges because you pay your balance in full each month. If you become eligible, you may be given the option to extend payment over time on certain charges using Amex’s Pay Over Time feature(s). If you use these features, you may accrue interest on any charges you choose to pay over time. But remember, this is not advised by me. 50% Travel Bonus
Get 50% Membership Rewards points back when you use the Pay with Points feature for all or part of a flight with the airline you select. Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet Access On Flights
Purchase Protection protects eligible purchases made with the Platinum Card in the event they are accidentally damaged, stolen, or lost for up to 90 days from the date of purchase.
When you use your card for eligible purchases, you can get up to one extra year added to the original manufacturer’s warranty. Applies to warranties of 5 years or less. Some exclusions apply.
If you try to return an eligible item within 90 days from the date of purchase and the merchant won’t take it back, American Express may refund the full purchase price (excluding shipping and handling), up to $300 per item, up to a maximum of $1,000 per calendar year per Card account, if you purchased it entirely with your eligible American Express Card.
