The Points Mom

Chase You Are Definitely Shaking Things Up! Hello Lyft, So Long Uber…..

I do not use ride sharing services often.  I am a suburban mom who spends most of my day driving my own car doing suburban mom things.  However, when my kids don’t have a ride, or when we travel, we do take advantage of ride sharing services, and until this past weekend, Uber was my app of choice.  HOWERVER., Chase shook things up when they partnered with Lyft and as of last weekend, I became a Lyft convert.  In fact, I used my first Lyft ever last night to go for dinner in Park City.  That’s me in the picture getting into my first Lyft. 🙂

So as Chase cardholders, why should we use Lyft?

Chase Sapphire Reserve and JP Morgan Infinite Reserve cardmembers– You earn 10x Chase Ultimate Rewards points on Lyft rides through March 2022, plus you can activate Lyft Pink for a free 1-year membership.   Note, you have to activate the Lyft Pink benefit by March 31, 2022 and your free year will start on your activation date so plan accordingly.  Maybe activate when you know you have a bunch of travel, college visits coming up, etc. .  Below, is a picture from my Lyft Pink account which shows the perks of the Lyft Pink membership.  I activated the very first day that I could, January 12th, because I didn’t want to forget and because I like to test things out for all of you!
