Recall that back in the winter of 2015, it was announced that the relationship between JetBlue and Amex was coming to an end. At that time, they stopped offering the American Express card to new card members and current cardholders were in limbo as to what would become of their cards, with speculation as to a transfer to Barclays Bank.
As anticipated, a letter from American Express came yesterday. In the letter American Express states that my JetBlue Amex will be automatically replaced with a JetBlue card from Barclays on March 21, 2016.
FYI-I canceled my American Express JetBlue card and I happily await the terms of the new offer with the Barclays JetBlue card.
