Starting In February 2016, American Airlines is reintroducing complimentary Main Cabin snacks on transcontinental flights. In addition, all domestic flights should have them on board by April. As for meals coming back, beginning in May, if you are flying to Hawaii or on one one of American’s long-haul flights to or from Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW), you will also get a complimentary meal service in the Main Cabin.
