My Second Card Of 2019-The Chase Marriott Rewards Premier Business Credit Card

Apply For The Chase Marriott Rewards Premier Business Credit Card Here

Yesterday, I read that there were reports that the Chase Marriott Rewards Premier Business Card was not subject to Chase’s pesky 5/24 rule.  Also, recall we recently learned that this card will no longer be available to new applicants come February 12th. Lastly, I think I need start amassing some Marriott points for Christmas 2019 (We have a 2 week break!). Rob got this card last year because we needed to accumulate SPG points.

Based on those three factors above, I decided to apply and was approved by Chase. The offer that I took advantage of is the standard 75,000 BONUS REWARDS POINTS after you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months. I earn Marriott/SPG Points (soon to be Bonvoy points) with the card and there is a $99 annual fee. With the card, I earn 6 points for each $1 spent on qualifying purchases made at participating Marriott and The Ritz-Carlton locations, and all Starwood-branded hotels which participate in Starwood Preferred Guest. You earn 2 points per $1 on all other purchases made with your card.  You receive 1 free night every year after your anniversary. Award can be used for one night (redemption level at or under 35,000 points) at a participating hotel.  If you can use this free night, it continues to be worth the $99 fee.  For me, I am in the years of college visits so using the free night is easy.

You pay no foreign transaction fees when you use your card on purchases made outside the United States. You will automatically receive Silver Elite Status each account anniversary year as a cardmember. Each Account Anniversary Year you make purchases totaling $35,000 or more you will qualify for Gold Elite Status through December 31 of the following year.  Also, coming in 2019, you will receive 15 elite night credits.
