Barclaycard has made the following NEGATIVE changes to the rules/benefits of the Barclaycard Arrival World MasterCard.
1. Redemption Bonus Changes-The bonus miles you receive when you redeem for travel statement credits will be reduced from 10% miles back to 5% miles back. Boo!
2. Additional Changes – Purchases classified as tourist attractions (including expositions, botanical gardens, craft shows, museums, and wineries) will no longer count as travel purchases and therefore will not earn double miles nor qualify for statement credits. Boo!

For existing cardholders, these rules go into effect in November 2015 for those who got the card before September 30, 2014 and go into effect in August, 2016 for those who got the card after October 1, 2014.
