The Points Mom

I Received My Second To Last Dividend From Chase Sapphire Preferred

Currently, Chase Sapphire Preferred automatically awards you a 7% Annual Points Dividend on all new points earned on purchases throughout the year – even points you have redeemed.  On my most recent Chase Sapphire Preferred statement, I see that I have received my 2014 annual 7% dividend.   This dividend is a nice boost to my Chase Ultimate Rewards points balance.

Unfortunately, I have one last dividend to receive for my 2015 spending, which I will receive in early 2016.  You see, after 12/31/2015, you will no longer earn the 7% Annual Points Dividend.  🙁

This change is one of other, what I deem negative, changes being made with the Chase Sapphire Preferred card.

With all of the competition out there with regard to banks and cards, I can’t imagine that Chase won’t make good in some other way.  It will be interesting to see what they come up with to keep their customers loyal and happy!
