I Couldn't Pass Up The New 100K Offer On The JetBlue Plus MasterCard, But I May Not Get The Bonus

The usual sign-up bonus for the J etBlue Plus MasterCard is to receive 40,000 bonus JetBlue TrueBlue points if you spend $1,000 in the first 90 days.

For a limited time, you can earn an unprecedented 100,000 points if you spend $1,000 in the first 90 days. Earn 50,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 on purchases and paying the annual fee in full, both within the first 90 days. Earn an additional 50,000 bonus points after spending a total of $6,000 on purchases within the first 12 months.

I couldn’t resist and I applied without looking at the terms despite the fact that I got it back in 2017 with a 60,000 point offer. I then subsequently canceled it in 2018.

Now this is what the terms say..hmmm…..

Now, I actually did not get approved right away and needed to call the Barclays reconsideration line. I got approved after I answered some additional questions and offered to move over a portion my credit line from my Barclaycard Arrival World MasterCard. While I was speaking to the representative, I confirmed my offer and she said it was the 100K. I guess I will know after I spend the $1k and I can see if I got the 50. TBD. Fingers crossed!
