There are some upcoming changes to the benefits that come with the CitiBusiness/AAdvantage Platinum Select World MasterCard. These changes are occurring after November 15, 2015.
First, the 5% Mileage bonus benefit is being discontinued. Previously, after you renewed your annual card membership you would earn a 5% AAdvantage mileage bonus based upon eligible purchases made during the cardmembership year. You will not have this benefit on your cardmember anniversary after November 15, 2015.
Second, a better change, is there will no longer be foreign transaction fees on purchases after November 15, 2015.
Third, double miles on office supplies is being replaced with double miles on gas purchases.
