For all of you skeptics out there who believe that you hurt your credit (by a lot) by constantly applying for and canceling cards, (like I do), I just got the following email today from American Express about my American Express Starwood Preferred Guest Card.
“Congratulations Cindy,
Thank you for using your American Express Card for your travel purchases and your everyday needs. In appreciation of your history with us, you have been chosen to increase your credit limit by $4000 on your American Express Card account.”
A few weeks after this post, I also received a credit increase from Citibank, as well, without asking for one. What do you think about that???
