Remember I told you that Amex canceled my Hilton HHonors American Express card without my authorization when they approved me for the Amex Everyday Preferred card?
That was a little annoying to say the least. After many phone calls with various departments within Amex (but I was always pretty nice I think 🙂 ), I resigned myself to the fact that my American Express Hilton HHonors card would not be reinstated. However, Amex felt bad that nobody on their end told me that my card would be canceled. To make up for this, they deposited 6,000 Hilton HHonors points into my account. Nice of them. Thank You American Express!
