L AL Airlines and Alaska Airlines have joined forces with respect to Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, the loyalty program of Alaska Airlines.
Beginning July 1, 2019, Mileage Plan members can earn miles flying to Israel on El Al. In addition, base miles earned and class of service bonuses on EL AL Israel Airlines count toward Mileage Plan elite status.
As for redeeming Mileage Plan miles for El Al flights, we will need to wait and see. However, that would be great if it happens!
