If you achieve Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Elite Status, you earn more Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Miles as an Elite member when you fly.
General members earn 1 mile per mile flown on flights but MVP members earn a 50% bonus, MVP Gold members earn a a 100% bonus and MVP Gold 75K earn a 125% bonus on the miles earned. For MVP Gold 75K, you get 50,000 bonus miles when you attain that status.
