American Airlines dropped the lawsuit that it had filed last week against Gogo for slow inflight Wi-Fi. American had sued to get out get out of it’s contract with Gogo. American will be evaluating of Gogo’s competing proposal that will hopefully be equal to what American had found with rival provider ViaSat. American dismissed the lawsuit without prejudice, which means if they are not happy with Gogo’s proposal they can sue once again to get out of their contract. Gogo (GOGO) shares rose nearly 10% after American (AAL) dropped the lawsuit.
