This past week the US agreed to resume commercial flights to Cuba for the first time in 50 years. According to Reuters, there will be about 110 round trip flights from the US to Cuba per day.
But there is still a tourism ban in Cuba. You cannot just go there as a tourist. You need to fit into one of 12 criteria such as humanitarian work. However, this agreement with respect to the commercial flights. may move us a step closer to being able to to get to Cuba to just hit the beaches and sightsee.
