A LifeLock membership provides identity theft protection. I actually have had it for about 1.5 years and am happy with it. It is probably a good idea to have some sort of identity theft protection, as you acquire more credit cards. I get emails from LifeLock each time there is a credit inquiry into myself and it also emails me my credit score each month. 🙂
