Hotel Ranga In Southern Iceland And A Savings Of $4870

Taken right from my Instagram post. 🙂

Hallo’ from Iceland!

We are currently at the Hotel Ranga in south Iceland, a World of Hyatt Resort and a Small Luxury Hotel Of The World property. ❤️❤️❤️

Um, yup we are staying for FREE at this amazing property. Here’s how…

Junior Suite for my 3 kids-in the renovated part of the hotel. The suite is gorgeous! 👏👏👏

This junior suite for 3 nights would have cost $3745 had we paid. Instead, I used FLEXIBLE rewards (ask me which in a dm) to book this amazing suite for them. 👍

Standard room for me and Rob-We are roughing it in the older section of the hotel. It is not as nice as the kids room 🤣, but the accommodations are good. And sometimes we need to give some things up to travel for FREE! 🤪

This room, that would have cost about $375 per night, was 30,000 World Of Hyatt points per night for the three nights. 👍

I can usually easily access Hyatt Points because I am always flush with FLEXIBLE rewards that transfer to World of Hyatt. 🙌

And my room (not the kids) is adding 3 nights to my quest to maintain my World Of Hyatt Globalist status for 2023. Yay! 👏🙌

Note-when you book a hotel thru a 3rd party, you do not earn points on the stay nor do u receive your status benefits. That is why the kids’ stay does not count toward my nights towards Globalist status for next year. 👎🏻

We will soon be eating our FREE breakfast. My room comes with breakfast for 2 because of my Globalist status and the kids room was booked with breakfast. ☕️🥚🍳🥞🥣🧇

Ok, so if we are staying for FREE and eating breakfast for FREE why do we need “the right card” for our stay? 🙋‍♀️🙋🙋‍♂️

Because we are having dinner at the Ranga Restaurant during our stay (the resort is quite remote-not a ton around) and I need a card for that! 💳

Reach out to me if you want to know which card I am using to pay for my hotel incidentals. You can get in touch at [email protected]. 📧
