The terms leave some wiggle room for the avios to be passed…..
“Except as otherwise provided by Aer Lingus and/or AGL Conditions of Use and communicated to the Member, Avios are not transferable (whether from person to person, to the account of another member, statement to statement, card to card or otherwise) and cannot be bequeathed, devised or otherwise transferred by operation of law.”
