Recall that with the Chase Marriott Rewards Premier card, you receive 1 free night every year after card approval at any Category 1-5 property. However, the free night usually expires after one year. I am often in danger of having them expire and I have had to come up with creative ideas in the past to make sure I use my free nights. For the last two years, using them has been easy!
Last year, I gave my free Marriott night to my sister and her friends. They stayed at the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal in Princeton, NJ.
This year, my sister is once again the recipient of this free night. Coming from NJ to a Long Island Bar Mitzvah, her and her husband needed a place to stay. I used my free night award and booked them a night at the Courtyard Westbury Long Island, a Category 5 property. Perfect!
