Tomorrow, I am off to Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina on my free Delta flight that I booked using Chase Ultimate Rewards on the Chase Travel site. I am going with my dear, (not old) high school friends, without kids. Could it get any better?
The price of the flight was $230 but I didn’t want to pay, despite the low fare. I redeemed my Chase points at the wonderful rate of 1.5 cents per point, and used a mere 15,333 points for this flight. Remember, I am always flush with Chase points because at this point I pretty much only use my Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Freedom Unlimited for almost all of our purchases and Rob uses his Chase Ink for business purchases. (This may change due to my latest acquisition of the American Express Blue Business Plus Credit Card).
We are not staying at the Montage, because my friend has a home. We will definitely be visiting the resort, specifically the spa. I am so excited……
