I continue to add to my American Airlines Aadvantage balance in 2019. Recall at the beginning of the year I applied for the CitiBusiness/AAdvantage Platinum Select World MasterCard with a bonus offer of 70,000 American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles.
And most recently, I took advantage (hah) of the increased offer for the Barclays AAdvantage Aviator Business card where I will get a 60,000 mile bonus if I spend $1,000 in the first 90 days.
Some of the features of this card are as follows:
The cards carries a $95 annual fee. With the card, you earn 2x miles on all American Airlines Purchases. You also earn 2X miles on office supply, telecom and car rental merchants. You earn 1x miles on all other purchases. You pay no foreign transaction fees when you use your card on purchases made outside the United States.
In addition, every year, after your account anniversary, you get a 5% mileage bonus based on the total number of miles earned using your card.
You get a free first checked bag for the primary cardholder and up to 4 companions on eligible bags when traveling on domestic itineraries operated by American Airlines. You receive Primary boarding for the primary cardmember and up to 4 companions on your reservation when traveling on domestic itineraries operated by American Airlines.
Finally, you get a 25% savings on eligible inflight purchases including cocktails, food and movies.
