With a Citi Executive AAdvantage card, you earn American AAdvantage miles. The standard sign-up bonus is to earn 50,000 AAdvantage bonus miles after you make $5,000 in purchases within first 3 months of account openingBut, for a limited time, earn 75,000 American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles after spending $7,500 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening.

Don’t forget, before you apply, make sure your ability to get the sign-up bonus is not limited by Citi restrictions on an additional sign-up bonus.

There is a $450 annual fee. You earn 2x miles on all American Airlines purchases and you earn 1X miles on all other purchases.  You get your first bag checked free on eligible bags for you and up to 8 companions.  You get Admirals Club membership with the card and you and your immediate family (or up to two traveling guests that accompany you) have access to Admirals Club worldwide locations.   (If you purchase membership, this runs about an average of $400 per year for an individual–$450 fee is worth it in this case).  You pay no foreign transaction fees on purchases when you use your Citi® / AAdvantage Executive credit card abroad.  You receive a statement credit, up to $100 every 5 years, as reimbursement for your application fee for Global Entry or TSA Pre√.

Additionally, you will earn 10,000 Elite Qualifying Miles (EQMs) after spending $40,000 in purchases that post to your January through December billing statements.  EQMs earned are in addition to the AAdvantage miles earned for purchases made on the credit card.  You can bypass the regular check-in line at the airport with access to Priority Check-in.  Also, up to 8 traveling companions get priority check-in if they are listed in the same reservation.  You as the cardmember get priority boarding privileges.  Also up to 8 traveling companions get priority boarding privileges if they are listed in the same reservation.
