The Chase Freedom Unlimited is a CASH BACK Credit Card where you earn 1.5% cash back per dollar spent on all of your purchases. HOWEVER, where I think it makes the most sense to pick up this card, is if you you already have a Chase Sapphire Preferred or Chase Sapphire Reserve.  If you have one of these cards already, you can track your cash back rewards from this Unlimited card as points in the Chase Ultimate Rewards program. You can read more about this here.

The usual sign up bonus is to earn $150 cash back (or 15,000 Ultimate Rewards Points if applicable) after you make $500 in purchases in your first 3 months from account opening.

HERE IS A LINK THAT IS OFFERING $200 cash back or (20,000 Ultimate Rewards Points if applicable) after you make $500 in purchases in your first 3 months from account opening.

Before you apply, make sure your ability to get the sign-up bonus is not limited by Chase restrictions on an additional sign-up bonus or the Chase 5/24 rule.

With the card, there is NO ANNUAL FEE.  Your points can be redeemed for cash back. When you use points to redeem for cash, each point is worth $0.01 (one cent), which means that 100 points equals $1 in redemption value.

Ultimate Rewards-If you can redeem your cash back points as Ultimate Rewards, you can redeem each point at 1.25 cents (if you have a Sapphire Preferred) or 1.5 cents (if you have a Sapphire Reserve).
