If you are a Delta SkyMiles Credit Card member, you can now receive an advance of miles and then earn them over 6 months by using the Card.
First, you need to see how many miles you are eligible to receive in advance. The amount that you receive in advance must be earned back via spending on your card over the next six months. At the end of the six month period, any remaining miles will be charged to your Card account at a rate of 2.5 cents. (Don’t let this happen!)
This feature would be great for someone who needs Delta SkyMiles soon and doesn’t have the time to wait for them via spending followed by having their statement close. However, I am not sure how many miles Amex is willing to advance. Although I don’t need Delta miles and will not likely take advantage of this offer, I clicked through just to see how many I could get….this was the response…..
