In the Marriott Rewards program, if you are inactive for 24 consecutive months, you will forfeit all of your accumulated Points. To stay active you can earn points or use points at least 1x every 24 months. Also converting points to miles or miles to points counts as activity. Note that gifting, transferring or receiving points from another member does not count as activity. If your points have been forfeited, they cannot be reinstated.
