How I Use My Chase Sapphire Preferred Card

Another card that I keep in my wallet is the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card. Currently, there is a 40,000 Ultimate Rewards BONUS POINTS offer after you spend $4,000 in the first 3 months. Ultimate Rewards points are very valuable in getting you to your next free vacation as you can learn here…Chase Ultimate Rewards.

When do I take this card out of my wallet to use? Well, I personally love this card because it gives you 2 points per dollar spent on travel and dining. This means that anytime you go out for dinner, order takeout or even pop in to that occasional fast food restaurant (it’s ok I do it too sometimes ), you are earning 2 Ultimate Rewards points on every dollar spent. In addition, you also earn 2 Ultimate Rewards points on any travel purchase. This includes charges for airfare, hotel, car services, taxis, parking ,etc. I, personally, do not use this Visa for anything other than dining and travel because on purchases, other than dining and travel, you only get 1 point per dollar spent. Instead, I prefer to use my Chase Freedom Visa that earns me 1 point per dollar spent, plus 10% extra points per $1 spend plus 10 bonus points on every purchase. (But this 10/10 bonus is ending in December 2015 🙁  )
