Sign-up Bonus

Before you apply, make sure your ability to get the sign-up bonus is not limited by Chase restrictions on an additional sign-up bonus or the Chase 5/24 rule. Also be mindful of the unwritten 30 day application rule.

Earn Points on Spending

1. Earn 5 points per $1 spent at all hotels within the Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG).

2. Earn 3 points per $1 on utilities, internet/cable/phone and streaming.

2. Earn 2 points per $1 spent at restaurants and gas.

3.  Earn 2 points per $1 spent on all other purchases made with your card

No Foreign Transaction Fees

Pay no foreign transaction fees when you use your card on purchases made outside the United States.

Silver Elite Status

You get IHG Silver Elite Status with the card. And you can reach Gold Status after spending $20,000 on purchases and one additional purchase is made during the calendar year after you have spent $20,000.

Fourth Night Free

For each standard room reward night stay of 4 or more nights, every 4th night is free.

10,000 Bonus Points Each Account Anniversary Year

You’ll get 10,000 bonus points each account calendar year during which at least $10,000 is spent.

Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance

If you purchase a portion of your trip with your card, you may be able to take advantage of the Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance benefit if necessary.  Read more here.
