Card Highlights

Chase IHG Rewards Club Select is a Credit Card

With a credit card, you can carry a balance and accrue interest if necessary. Note this is not advised by me. The points game does not work well, if you are carrying a balance and accruing interest. See #4 in Let’s Get Started To Earning Free Travel.

Receive 1 free night every year after your cardmember anniversary.  I used mine in Boston.  Sadly, as of May 1, 2018, this free night is only redeemable at properties up to 40,000 IHG Rewards points. Wait-the free night certificates issued before May 1, 2019, will be unrestricted, meaning they can be used at any IHG property.

Pay no foreign transaction fees when you use your card on purchases made outside the United States.
