Starting on July 22, 2018, there are additional benefits being added to your Citi/AAdvantage Platinum Select World EliteTM MasterCard.
In addition to earning 2x miles on all American Airlines purchases, you will now be able to earn 2X miles on restaurants and gas purchases. You will still earn 1X miles on all other purchases.
Another new benefit is a $100 American Airlines flight discount after you spend $20,000 or more during your cardmembership year and renew your card. (Eh, imo). Note, the tally of purchases does not begin until July 22, 2018.
Lastly, the annual membership fee for this card will be increasing from $95 to $99.
