Recall, I recently got the latest version of the American Express Gold Card with a 50,000 Membership Rewards points bonus. When I got the card in the mail and I went to register the card online, Amex surprised me with another bonus offer. Right after I registered, an offer popped up for me to enroll the card and use it to get 2,000 additional Membership Rewards points one-time when I spend $50+ in one or more transactions at Amazon by 12/31/2018.
I went right from my Amex account to Amazon and stocked up on the various granola bars that my family loves that we get from Amazon. I didn’t want to have to remember the offer later on and $50 was an easy spend.
I immediately received this email…
“Thank you for using your American Express® Card ending in XXXXX at AMAZON.COM. If your purchase meets the offer terms, you will have successfully redeemed the offer”
And I now await my additional 2,000 American Express Membership Rewards.
