As an American Express Business Platinum cardholder, you currently get 50% Membership Rewards points back when you use the Pay with Points feature for all or part of a flight with the airline you select. The selected airline is “the qualifying airline” with respect to this new benefit and the $200 Airline Fee Credit.  In addition, as of now, Business Platinum members can also receive this benefit when booking a first or business class ticket with ANY airline.  You can get back up to 500,000 points annually.

This is changing June 1.  As of June 1, 2017, Business Platinum cardholders will get only 35% of if their points back when using the pay with points feature with your “selected airline” or when you book a first or business class ticket.

Book your pay with points flights before June 1!!
