Before you apply, make sure your ability to get the sign-up bonus is not limited by American Express lifetime language or the 5 card rule or the 90 day rule or the other factors language. And according to the terms, you can now not get a bonus with this card if you have had a Delta SkyMiles Reserve Amex card.

There are no additional cardholder fees.

Earn Miles on Spending

1. Earn 3 miles per $1 spent on Delta airline tickets and other Delta purchases like Sky Club membership or passes, Delta Vacations packages, seat upgrades, or in-flight purchases like food, beverages, and audio headsets.

2. Earn 3x miles on hotel stays (directly purchased, so no intermediary)

3. Earn 2x miles at restaurants and US supermarkets.

4. Earn 1 mile for every dollar you spend on all your other purchases.

Earn MQDs

You will start 2024 and each year after with $2500 MQDs and you will earn a terrible rate of 1 MQD for every $20 spent.

No Foreign Transaction Fees

Pay no foreign transaction fees when you use your card on purchases made outside the United States.

Global Entry or TSA Pre✓ Fee Credit

You receive one Global Entry ($100) statement credit or one TSA Pre√ ($85) statement credit every every 4 and 4.5 years respectively for an application fee charged to your Card.

Companion Certificate at Renewal

Upon renewing your card, you get a Companion Certificate that is valid for one round-trip ticket with the purchase of a round-trip fare (and taxes and fees) on routings originating within the United States, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) to the following destinations: the United States, Puerto Rico, USVI, Mexico, Antigua, Aruba, Bermuda, Bonaire, Grand Cayman, Cuba, Jamaica, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Saint Kitts, St. Maarten, St. Lucia, Costa Rica, Belize, Guatemala, Panama, Honduras, and El Salvador. The primary ticket and Companion ticket (taxes and fees) must be purchased with your Delta Reserve Credit Card. Both passengers must be booked on the same flights and dates, at the same time.valid for one round-trip Main Cabin ticket with the purchase of a round-trip fare (and taxes and fees) within the 48 contiguous United States. $120 Resy Credit

CLICK ENROLL for the benefit and then you can earn up to $10 in statement credits each month for eligible Resy purchases. Eligible Resy purchases include purchases at U.S. restaurants that offer reservations on Resy.com and the Resy app, and purchases made directly on Resy.com or in the Resy app.

S120 Rideshare Credit

CLICK ENROLL for the benefit and then you can earn up to $10 in statement credits per month when you make eligible purchases in the U.S. with the following rideshare services: Uber, Lyft, Curb, Revel, and Alto, which are subject to change.

$150 Delta Stays Credit

You can earn up to $150 in statement credits per calendar year when you pay for a new Delta Stays prepaid hotel or vacation rental booking on the Delta Stays platform (delta.com/stays)

Check your first bag for free

Primary card members and up to 8 people traveling on the same itinerary can check their first bag free on Delta flights.

Priority boarding privileges

Primary cardmembers and their companions on the same reservation will board Delta flights prior to general boarding.

Delta Sky Club Access

With the card, you as the cardholder and up to two guests can pay the Delta Sky Club card exclusive rate of $50 per person. This benefit may be used only in conjunction with same-day ticketed air travel on any airline. Payment must be made in person with your Platinum Delta SkyMiles Credit Card.

In-flight Savings

You get the benefit of 20% In-flight Savings on food and entertainment. Savings are received in the form of a statement credit.

Trip Delay Insurance

If you purchase a round trip ticket entirely with your Amex Card, you may be able to take advantage of the Trip Delay Insurance benefit. Read more here.

Global Assist Hotline

If you travel more than 100 miles from home, you have Global Assist Hotline available for 24/7 medical, legal, financial and other select emergency assistance and coordination services, such as medical and legal referrals, emergency cash wires, and missing luggage assistance.

Baggage Insurance Plan

You can be covered for lost, damaged, or stolen Baggage when you purchase the Entire Fare for a Common Carrier Vehicle ticket (e.g. plane, train, ship, or bus) on your card. Coverage can be provided for up to $1,250 for carry-on Baggage and up to $500 for checked Baggage. For New York State residents, there is a $10,000 aggregate maximum limit for all Covered Persons per Covered Trip.

Car Rental Loss and Damage Insurance

When you use your card to reserve and pay for the Entire Rental and decline the collision damage waiver at the rental Company counter, you can be covered for Damage to or Theft of a Rental Vehicle in a Covered Territory. Note, there are some exclusions and restrictions and not all vehicle types or rentals are covered. Coverage is not available for vehicles rented in Australia, Italy, and New Zealand. Note, this product provides secondary coverage and does not include liability coverage.

Purchase Protection

Purchase Protection protects eligible purchases made with the Card in the event they are accidentally damaged or stolen for up to 90 days from the date of purchase.

Extended Warranty

When you use your card for eligible purchases, you can get up to one extra year added to the original manufacturer’s warranty. Applies to warranties of 5 years or less. Some exclusions apply. Find out more here.
