Sign-up Bonus

Before you apply, make sure your ability to get the sign-up bonus is not limited by American Express lifetime language or the 5 card rule or the 90 day rule or the other factors language. And according to the terms, you can now not get a bonus with this card if you have had a Delta SkyMiles Platinum Amex card or a Delta SkyMiles Reserve Amex card.

Annual Fee

$0 Introductory Annual Fee the first year, then $150

No Additional Cardholder Fees

There are no additional cardholder fees.

Earn Miles on Spending

1. Earn 2 miles per $1 spent on Delta airline tickets and other Delta purchases like Sky Club membership or passes, Delta Vacations packages, seat upgrades, or in-flight purchases like food, beverages, and audio headsets.

2. Earn 2 miles per $1 at restaurants and supermarkets.

3. Earn 1 mile for every dollar you spend on all your other purchases.

No Foreign Transaction Fees

Pay no foreign transaction fees when you use your card on purchases made outside the United States.

Check your first bag for free

Primary card members and up to 8 people traveling on the same itinerary can check their first bag free on Delta flights.

Priority boarding privileges

Primary cardmembers and their companions on the same reservation will board Delta flights prior to general boarding.

$100 Delta Flight Credit

Spend $10,000 in purchases on your card in a calendar year and receive a $200 Delta Flight Credit.

$100 Delta Stays Credit

You can earn up to $200 in statement credits per calendar year when you pay for a new Delta Stays prepaid hotel or vacation rental booking on the Delta Stays platform (delta.com/stays)

In-flight Savings

You get the benefit of 20% In-flight Savings on food and entertainment. Savings are received in the form of a statement credit.

Take $50 off the cost of your flight for every 5,000 miles you redeem with Pay with Miles when you book on delta.com.

Global Assist Hotline

If you travel more than 100 miles from home, you have Global Assist Hotline available for 24/7 medical, legal, financial and other select emergency assistance and coordination services, such as medical and legal referrals, emergency cash wires, and missing luggage assistance.

Car Rental Loss and Damage Insurance

When you use your card to reserve and pay for the Entire Rental and decline the collision damage waiver at the rental Company counter, you can be covered for Damage to or Theft of a Rental Vehicle in a Covered Territory. Note, there are some exclusions and restrictions and not all vehicle types or rentals are covered. Coverage is not available for vehicles rented in Australia, Italy, and New Zealand. Note, this product provides secondary coverage and does not include liability coverage.

Purchase Protection

Purchase Protection protects eligible purchases made with the Card in the event they are accidentally damaged or stolen for up to 90 days from the date of purchase.

Extended Warranty

When you use your card for eligible purchases, you can get up to one extra year added to the original manufacturer’s warranty. Applies to warranties of 5 years or less. Some exclusions apply. Find out more here.
