1. Earn 3 Elevate points per $1 on Virgin America purchases.

$150 Companion Ticket Discount
As a cardmember, you will receive (1) one-hundred fifty dollar ($150) Virgin America companion ticket discount (via a code in an email) each year including the first year after you have used the card and paid the annual fee. Each year after the first year, you will receive your Discount Code approximately 6 to 8 weeks after you pay your Annual Fee. The Companion Ticket Discount Code is good for one year from the date you receive it via email. The Discount Code can be redeemed for $150 off of the base fare for a companion ticket when traveling with another passenger on a paid, published airfare on the same itinerary. The Discount Code is only eligible for new, round-trip full fare tickets for Virgin America-operated flights purchased directly from Virgin America either online at virginamerica.com or by phone.
Free First Checked Bag
Check one free bag for you and one traveling companion on Virgin America flights when your card is used to purchase the flight and each bag is within the standard weight and size restrictions.
No change or cancel fees
Interesting perk that allows you to modify your travel plans without paying an additional fee to change or cancel your non-refundable Virgin America flights. You’ll only need to pay the difference in fare when making a change.
Earn Elevate Status Points With The Card
Earn 5,000 bonus status points for every $10,000 of eligible purchases, up to a maximum of 15,000 status points per calendar year. 20,000 points gets you to Elevate Silver and 50,000 points gets you to Elevate gold. Each level offers additional privileges and benefits. Note that having the card only gives you the opportunity to earn a maximum of 15,000 so it is not enough to reach Silver status. Save 20% On In-Flight Purchases
You save 20% when you use your card to make in flight purchases on RED, Virgin America’s in-flight entertainment system. Your discount will appear as a statement credit. Note, WiFi is excluded.
