Earn Points on Spending
1. Earn 2x ThankYou Points at supermarkets and gas stations for the first $6,000 per year.
2. Earn 1X ThankYou Points on other purchases
3. Cool!-Round up to the nearest 10 points-The card automatically rounds up to the nearest 10 points on every purchase. (A $2 coffee earns 10 points.) There is no cap on purchases that are rounded up.

Get 10% Points Back for the first 100,000 ThankYou Points you redeem per year.
Redeem Your Points For…
Citi markets redeeming your points for gift cards like Nike, App Store and ITunes at a 1:1 redemption rate, and I don’t mind this redemption for a student. Don’t fall into the trap of using the points for Amazon purchases as your redemption rate will be lower. As with other Citi ThankYou cards, you can always redeem your points as well as follows…
Redeem your points through Citi’s Travel Center
Citi has an online travel booking tool available where you can redeem your points for travel. You can redeem for flights, hotels, cars, travel packages and activities. Also if you are short on points, you can use your Citi Card and your ThankYou Points together to pay and redeem for all travel available through the online booking tool. With this card, one Citi ThankYou point equals $0.01 incremental value on travel. For example, a $200 airline ticket will cost you 20,000 Citi ThankYou points. Points Transfer With No Transfer Fees
Transfer points to participating frequent travel programs with no transfer fees. Most points transfer at full 1:1 value. Unfortunately, ThankYou points transfer to JetBlue at 50% meaning that 1000 ThankYou points equal 500 JetBlue TrueBlue points. Click here to view Citi’s other transfer partners.
