Card Highlights
Bank Of America Travel Rewards Credit Card is a Credit Card
With a credit card, you can carry a balance and accrue interest if necessary. Note this is not advised by me. The points game does not work well, if you are carrying a balance and accruing interest. See #4 in Let’s Get Started To Earning Free Travel.

Redeeming Points
You can redeem points for travel and dining purchases at 1 cent per point, starting at 2,500 points (i do not recommend redeeming for gift cards and you get the best value redeeming for travel credits). A credit is applied as a statement credit to your account to offset travel and/or dining purchases from qualifying merchants in these travel and dining-related categories. Qualifying travel purchases are eligible for a travel credit for 12 months from the posting date. Each point redeemed for a travel credit is worth $0.01 (2,500 points = $25).
