The Points Mom

Using U.S. Bank Altitude Points

You earn U.S. Bank Altitude points by using one of your U.S. Bank Altitude Cards for your purchases.  You can then redeem these points for your purchases which results in a statement credit that offsets your Card purchases.

With the U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve Card, you get 50% more in value when you redeem your points for travel.  For example, when you use points to redeem for merchandise, entertainment, gift cards and cash back, each point is worth $.01 (one cent), which means that 100 points equals $1 in redemption value. However, each point you redeem for travel is worth $.0150 (one and a half cents), which means that 100 points equals $1.50 in redemption value, and points are worth 50% more than if redeemed for other purchases. For example, a 450 flight requires 30,000 points. (NOT 45,000).

With the U.S. Bank Altitude Go Card and the U.S. Bank Altitude Connect Visa Signature Card you redeem your points at 1 cents per point. For example, when you use points to redeem for TRAVEL, merchandise, entertainment, gift cards and cash back, each point is worth $.01 (one cent), which means that 100 points equals $1 in redemption value.
