Normally, I would jump at these offers but, unfortunately, I can’t.  Years ago I got the Gold card and last year Rob and I both got the Platinum card and used our big influx of bonus miles towards business class tickets to Italy with a savings of $7,200.  Then when the offers were increased again, Rob and I both got the Amex Gold Delta business cards.  I guess I could have us go for the Platinum business cards, but will wait this one out as we have gotten a bunch of new cards already this year. Amex offers these increased bonuses a few times a year for these cards, so maybe I will act the next go around.  Also FYI-American Express does not let you get a second sign-up bonus for a card that you have already had at any point in your lifetime-Boo!
