My First Experience With TSA Pre√

Unknown

Remember, this past summer, my family and I got approved for TSA Pre√.  I just used it for the first time with Jessie on a trip to North Carolina for a swim meet.

Because of Rob’s misgivings about the program (he thinks it won’t often save us time), I was excited to prove him wrong, and prove him wrong, I did.

Jessie and I got to Laguardia on a Thursday afternoon for our flight.  To my dismay, the TSA Pre√ line was as big if not bigger than the regular security line.  Huh?!?!  Oh no, what if Rob was right?  A man who walked in behind us was so annoyed that he opted to get on the regular line instead.

You can imagine how closely I kept track of this man’s progress on the regular line.  Needless to say, we speeded through our long line, and when we finally got to the TSA agent, the silly man still had a ways to go on the regular line.  Also, how refreshing it was to not have to take off our shoes or take our laptops out of our carry-ons!

Coming back to NYC was even better and TSA Pre√ worked exactly like I always imagined it would.  We got to security and the regular line was long.  The TSA Pre√ line was empty :-)!  We were through in a matter of 2 minutes.

This coming week, we are leaving for Hawaii.  I am so excited to prove Rob wrong in person at the airport.  TSA Pre√ is great!
