On October 31st, I wrote about the negative changes that were taken place within the Delta SkyMiles Program. The negative changes related to limitations on miles transferred to Delta from American Express Membership Rewards. Today I received an email from the SkyMiles program taking it back. The email reads as follows:
“We are writing to make you aware that the previously published Delta® SkyMiles® program update, which would have limited the number of Membership Rewards® points that could be transferred into a SkyMiles¹ account beginning January 1st, will not take effect.
As part of American Express’ continued partnership with Delta, this means that there will be no annual limit on point transfers from the Membership Rewards program² to the Delta SkyMiles program. You will continue to enjoy your Membership Rewards benefits and the ability to transfer³ Membership Rewards points to the SkyMiles program as you do today.”
Yay!!! Thanks Delta for taking back those changes!!!!
