Throughout 2014, you were able to earn an additional 1 bonus point for each $1 spent with your Chase Sapphire or Chase Sapphire Preferred Card in the dining category on the first friday of the month. The bonus point earned is in addition to the standard two points earned in the dining category for a total of 3 points per $1 spent.
December 5, the last first friday, is approaching. It may coincide with the time period in which you will be buying holiday gifts for teachers, coworkers, family, etc. Take advantage of this promotion and consider buying gift certificates/gift cards to restaurants as holiday gifts on Friday, December 5th. Obviously, don’t forget to use your Chase Sapphire card to pay for these gifts. And shop away as there is no maximum bonus point accumulation for this promotional offer.
