American Express Starwood Preferred Guest and the American Express Starwood Preferred Guest Business-If you have either Starwood American Express credit card, each year you receive from Starwood a credit for 2 stays and 5 nights towards your Starwood Preferred Guest elite status. So the cards help you get to elite status but does not give it to you automatically.
