American Express Platinum-As a Platinum Card Member, you can upgrade to Starwood Preferred Guest Gold Status without meeting any stay requirements.  In addition, you are eligible to enroll in complimentary Hilton HHonors Gold status.

Chase Ritz-Carlton Rewards Credit Card-You get Gold Elite status in the Ritz-Carlton Rewards program your first account year. You can maintain your Gold Elite status by spending $10,000 on purchases your first account year and each account year thereafter. Chase Hyatt Visa Card-You are automatically a Gold Status member when you join the program.  You will achieve Platinum membership if you stay a minimum of five (5) Hyatt stays or fifteen (15) Hyatt nights and pay an eligible rate OR if you have the Chase Hyatt credit card.  You will achieve Diamond membership if you stay a minimum of twenty-five (25) Hyatt stays or fifty (50) Hyatt nights and pay an eligible rate.  You can read more about Hyatt Gold Passport Elite Status here and Learn More About The Card Here.

American Express Starwood Preferred Guest and the American Express Starwood Preferred Guest Business-If you have either Starwood American Express credit card, each year you receive from Starwood a credit for 2 stays and 5 nights towards your Starwood Preferred Guest elite status.  So the cards help you get to elite status but does not give it to you automatically.  Also, if you have one of the cards, if during any calendar year, eligible purchases on your card account are $30,000 or more, you will be enrolled for at least twelve months in the Gold Preferred level.  You can read more about SPG elite status hereand you can Learn More About The Cards Here.
