I have a lot of free money to spend on travel during our upcoming trip to Paris and Amsterdam over Xmas week. I have $900 to be exact. I hope that this will cover all taxis, ubers and any incidentals that we incur at our hotels. (Don’t forget the hotels are free on points-2 rooms!).
The break down of my free money is as follows:
My $300 Chase Sapphire Reserve travel credit restarts again on December 23rd. For those of you who got the card early, like I did, the credit resets after your December statement. This differs from later acquirers whose credit is on a cardmember year basis for 2018.
Rob’s $560 that we can redeem as a statement credit on travel from his new Bank Of America Premium Rewards Credit Card. It came with a 50,000 points bonus ($500) and then we have an extra 6,000 points because of spending on the card. These 56,000 points can be redeemed for travel worth $560.
I have $40 left from my annual $325 travel credit on my U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite Card.
