Recall that I just posted about that I was going to cancel Rob’s Chase British Airways Visa Signature card as the $95 annual fee became due. However, when I called, I learned that there was a NO FEE British Airways Visa, a card that is not offered to the public. I downgraded Rob to that instead.
Rob will never use this card as you get a mere 1 avios for every $2 spent (with the regular card the ratio is 1:1 on everyday purchases). But I did not have to cancel (not that it would have been a big deal if I did have to cancel). I prefer this downgrade option and use it when I can.
