Recall that a new benefit for American Express Business Platinum Card Members is access to the Gogo Preferred Program exclusively from American Express. This means that Business Platinum Card Members will be able to access 10 complimentary Gogo inflight internet passes each calendar year.
I just signed up for mine. I got an email from American Express….. “Cindy, your new Business Platinum Card benefit is now available” and I followed the easy steps and created a Gogo account. 
I now have 10 complimentary American Express Internet Passes waiting in my Gogo account.
If we are on a flight that has access to Gogo, I mainly forsee the passes being used by Rob. He loves to be online during a flight and many times he pays for the service. Me, I am happy to unplug from wifi during a flight, and my kids only want access to netflix online. Actually with Gogo, you cant use Netflix, HBO Go or other streaming video websites. I delved into this further, and this is the reason why….. “Bandwidth at 30,000+ feet is inherently limited, and heavy-load activities like streaming videos from the ground can weigh down our network. That means playback is subject to poor video quality, buffering, and slower connection speeds for your fellow passengers.”
But Rob will still be happy!
