There are currently increased sign-up bonus offers for the American Express Gold Delta SkyMiles Card and the American Express Platinum Delta SkyMiles Card.
Gold Delta Card–Earn 50,000 bonus miles after you make $2,000 in purchases on your new Card within your first 3 months and a $50 statement credit after you make a Delta purchase with your new Card within your first 3 months. (standard offer-30,000 SkyMiles after $1k in spend). There is a $0 introductory annual fee for the card the first year, then $95.
Platinum Delta Card–Earn 70,000 bonus miles and 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles after you make $3,000 in purchases on your new Card within your first 3 months and a $100 statement credit after you make a Delta purchase with your new Card within your first 3 months. (standard offer-35,000 SkyMiles and 5,000 MQMs after $1k in spend). The $195 fee is NOT waived the first year.

Don’t forget, with the cards, you earn 2 miles per $1 spent on Delta airline tickets and 1 mile for every dollar you spend on all your other purchases. There are no foreign transaction fees with the cards. In addition, the basic card member and up to 8 people traveling on the same itinerary, may check their first bag for free on all Delta and Delta Connection flights
With the Platinum card, in any calendar year you spend $25,000 or more on the card, you will be awarded 10,000 bonus SkyMiles and 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles. If in that same calendar year you spend $50,000 or more, you will be awarded an additional 10,000 bonus SkyMiles and 10,000 MQMs. Also, upon renewing your card, you get a Companion Certificate.
